IEEE-NEMS 2024 Awards Information
The IEEE-NEMS 2024 will selects winners to receive the following four awards. Authors can be nominated for the respective awards by submitting a full paper by March 4, 2024.
Late-news papers are also eligible for the award.
- CM Ho best paper award in Micro/Nanofluidics (USD 500 Cash Prize)
- The best conference paper award (JP Yen 50,000 Cash Prize)
- The best student paper award (JP Yen 50,000 Cash Prize)
- The best poster award (JP Yen 20,000 Cash Prize)
We have set up the CM HO Best Paper Award in Micro/Nano Fluidics”, in honor of Prof. C.-M. Ho, of the University of California, Los Angeles. We greatly appreciate Prof. C.-M. Ho’s donation for the Award. Prof. C.M. Ho will award “CM Ho best paper in Micro/Nanofluidics” onsite.
Awards Selection Rules
- Authors may nominate their original research work to enter the awards competition when they submit their full paper online before or on the deadline of full paper submission (March 4, 2024). Papers with the General Chair, Technical Program Chair/Co-chair, or Awards Committee Chair of IEEE-NEMS2024 on the authors list are NOT eligible for any awards.
- The Award Committee will nominate five finalist papers to be considered for the Best Conference Paper Award and five finalist papers for the Best Student Paper Award. Five final papers will be considered for the CM HO Best Paper in Micro/Nano Fluidics Award from the "Microfluidics and Nanofluidics" track. The purpose of this award is to promote the fundamental understanding of micro/nano fluidics phenomena and the application of this technology in molecular detection, manipulation, and in biology and medicine.
- The award committee will select the awards winners based on the abstract, full paper, oral/poster presentation, and Q&A.
There are no restrictions as to nationality, race, creed, sex, or age of the authors.
